Hey y’all!
I’m Emily from A Piece of Primary.
I teach first grade in South Texas. The primary grades have my heart for sure. I haven’t been teaching long, so this is me figuring it all out the best I can. This is not the place to find perfection- just ideas and activities to help you out in your classroom.
On a more personal note, I live on a big ranch in the middle of nowhere with my husband. Literally the middle of nowhere- the closest HEB (grocery store for my non-Texan friends) is 1 hour away! We have 2 Catahoula fur babies: Maya May and Marlee Kay. We are currently fostering the cutest little 4 year old in the world! We might be bias, but she has our whole hearts. Fostering is not for the feint of heart, so you might hear a little about that adventure as well. It helps to get all the feels off my chest!
